What is content creation?
Content creation is another way to document your wedding. It is a video edited together from short clips taken on a phone throughout your day. It’s perfect for social media, or just a as a little keepsake for yourselves as it is absolutely made to watch over and over again.
The joy of this is to experience these clips alongside your photography and to have another way to remember your wonderful day.
It absolutely doesn’t replace videography as it isn’t made to be cinematic. There’s no long recordings of your speech or ceremony. Just think of it as a little “best of” from your wedding!
How does it work?
If you choose to add content creation to your wedding photography package, I’ll be photographing your wedding on my camera and filming your wedding on my phone.
My phone either sits on top of my camera recording at the same time as I’m shooting, or it’s on a lanyard around my neck. Generally it won’t affect your day any differently at all, although during your couples shots I might ask you to do something again so I can get it absolutely right for the video!
My priority will always be your photography, but as I’ll always be standing in the best spot, it’s easy for me to grab a few little moments to record as well!
What do I get?
You’ll get a 60-90 second highlight reel edited to the music of your choice straight after your wedding (within 48 hours!).
You’ll also get a folder filled with ALL the snippets I’ve taken from the day - and trust me, there will be loads. You’ll get to look through any time you want and relive all the best bits from your day.
