Folly Farm Wedding

Claire and Hamish planned the perfect wedding that suited them so perfectly. It was such a pleasure to capture this fun and relaxed day!

Folly Farm is such a lovely venue and the space for outdoor wedding ceremonies is unreal. It was a bit touch and go in the morning as the forecast was saying rain, but luckily it stayed dry enough to get everyone out!

Claire & Hamish’s guests were SO much fun. I had a blast capturing so many happy, candid moments of their day. There was plenty of lawn games and canapés, and you could tell everyone was having a blast.

We popped out to do their couples’ photos in the beautiful fields and then they made an incredible entrance in to the marquee by dancing their way in!

The speeches were so emotional (you can see from the photos how many tears there were!) but my absolute favourite part of the day was when they went table to table cutting whole cheesecakes for their guests’ desserts rather than a traditional cake cutting. So much fun.

In the evening, the sun really came out for us, so I took the bride and groom for a few more photos in this glorious light.

It was then time for the first dance and when I say they brought it, I absolutely mean it. They had practiced a first dance routine which included doing the robot, high fives and lifts. Everyone went wild!

This was such a fun day to capture, and I absolutely love wedding days that bring so much high energy and fun!
