The Mount WIthout Wedding

I cannot tell you how much fun I had shooting Izzy & Adam’s Mount Without wedding. I knew from the second I met them both that it would be colourful, stylish and fun. It was definitely all those things! Izzy looked an absolute dream in her Vivienne Westwood dress. I LOVED the bridesmaids bright pink dresses combined with the bright pink flowers. It was bold and fun and awesome to photograph.

The venue is amazing as it is but Izzy & Adam absolutely drenched it in more bright pink flowers and it couldn’t have looked more incredible.

They got legally married the day before, and had their ceremony on this day conducted by The Urban Celebrant (the lovely Debbie – I shot her wedding a few years ago!). It was funny, emotional and touching. They wrote their own vows, and Adam did a reading as well. These two clearly adored each other and it was seen in all the laughter and tears.

After the ceremony, I popped back in with the two of them to use the amazing balcony for a few photos. The infinity symbol hanging from the ceiling is such a unique feature and the arched windows are gorgeous. These two rocked their photos!

We did the group photos inside as well to make the most of the stained glass window and the amazing flowers. Afterwards they could relax with their guests. It did rain a bit, but luckily it was a wedding where it totally didn’t matter! Everyone chilled in the cellar (a few braved it with umbrellas).

The wedding breakfast was catered by Bianchis (my favourite restaurant in Bristol) and was an Italian delight! A selection of charcuterie and cheese to start and then a load of amazing pastas and salads to choose from for main. Speeches came at the end and just like the rest of the day they were jam packed with laughter and tears.

I cannot tell you how great the party was. The groom’s brother was the DJ and he absolutely smashed it, live mixing on vinyl! The dance floor was so jam packed all night I could barely fit! I reluctantly left towards the end of the night (not before grabbing a slice of pizza on the way out!!).

What an amazing day!
